[Annual Note] is an annual series where we give our community a brief and frank update on where we are at Casavva.
Last year was an exciting one for us, launching Casavva. Although we had been creating products for several years, it was actually the first time we tried to sell it. We learned a ton and are very grateful on the support we received.
After moderate success on crowdfunding, we were at a decision point on whether to take Casavva into a full blown business. Towards the end of 2015, we decided to go for it. One of the main reasons was the enthusiastic feedback we got from our early customers. Another was a blind leap of faith.
In 2016, our goal is to build a sustainable business around our flagship product, the men’s button-down flannel shirt. We feel that there’s still a lot more runway there and we want to bring new styles to market based on the same three things that we started out with -- quality craftsmanship, best-in-class-materials, and innovative design touches.
