We founded Casavva with the vision of creating high-quality staple products at the foundation of every wardrobe.
We started by reimagining the casual button-down shirt for men-an essential piece in many an outfit. At Casavva, flannel shirts aren't just for chopping wood. They are also for going to the office, nights on the town, and lazy brunches. We take the casual comfort of premium flannel and give it a touch of modern class. We top it off with innovative designs and hidden features. It all gets done right here in USA with fabrics sourced from Los Angeles and the final product made in New York City.
In February of 2015, we kicked off our men's line with a successful Kickstarter campaign. Since then we've been adding new items to the collection and bettering our designs. We're a young, bootstrapped company, and we welcome your ideas and feedback anytime. Please email us at email@example.com or shout at us on social media. Thanks for listening
- Your humble friends at Casavva
Co-founder and CEO
Keith is a certified menswear tailor and spends his weekends with a Brother CS6000i sewing machine. He lived his formative years in New York City where he often observed and pondered about the apparel industry; in particular, how to combine new technology with traditional manufacturing processes to empower young designers. When he's not sewing, Keith likes to read, travel and play soccer (albeit, very poorly).
Shin is an operations wizard, helped by her ability to teleport (or ability to get around NYC with unbelievable efficiency, we don't know either). She previously work with a custom apparel company and continues to work fulltime in the start-up space in downtown Manhattan. Her degree in architecture gives her familiarity with apparel design software, not to mention a keen eye in general. In her spare time, she parties.
Ghanshyam brings to the team a solid technical foundation with 9 years in IT. He is well versed in the textiles industry and has intimate knowledge of how mass manufacturing works; he has spent his free time learning at some of the world's largest apparel factories. He's a natural problem solver and enjoys thinking about how processes and products can be improved. In his spare time he watches and plays soccer. Not to mention, he can cook a mean curry.
Ana brings a keen New Yorker eye on style and design from her background in media. She works in downtown Manhattan and has extensive experience through diverse projects with newspapers and magazines. When she's not behind the lens, she enjoys listening to people's perspectives and opinions. When she's not doing that, she's experimenting new cocktails.
Emily brings to Casavva her iconic can-do attitude and acute ability at bridging form and function. Multifaceted producer, director and designer with a BA in architecture, she can pretty much hustle out anything in record time. On the weekends you can catch Emily teaching children yo-yo tricks as well as learning new drum grooves. The Casavva team is also spoiled by her killer omelette-making abilities.
